Frequently asked questions

An active project is a Jira project (or equivalent) that is connected to FastSLA via webhook and actively receiving issue events. Archived projects don't count toward your limit. You can connect and disconnect projects freely within your quota.
Yes — FastSLA connects to an existing issue system you already own. It doesn't include a Jira license. It works with Jira Software (any tier), Azure DevOps, GitHub Issues, or any other system that can send webhook events in a compatible format.
Your trial automatically ends after 14 days. You'll be prompted to add a payment method to continue. If you don't, your account is paused — your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. No automatic charges during the trial.
Yes. You can change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you exceed your project limit when downgrading, you'll be asked to archive projects before the downgrade applies.
All data is stored in EU-based infrastructure. FastSLA is designed with GDPR compliance in mind, including configurable data retention periods, audit logs, and the ability to delete all tenant data on request. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Policy replay recalculates your historical SLA results as if a different policy had been active. It lets you safely evaluate new policies — different time targets, different business hours, different status mappings — before applying them to live tracking. It's especially useful when renegotiating SLA commitments or when onboarding new teams with different expectations.
Each project can have its own SLA policy and workflow configuration, or inherit from tenant-level defaults. On the Growth and Enterprise plans you can create multiple named policies and assign them per project. Policy versioning is tracked automatically so historical reports always reflect the policy that was active at the time.
